Meg has been teaching people how to sew since 2014.

I tend to take creative risks.

In grad school for speech-language pathology, I had a dream one night that I was a tailor, living by the sea and sewing clothes. The dream felt right, so I quit school, bought a sewing machine, and never looked back.

That leap led to a career at a sewing pattern company, a handmade wardrobe, a decade of teaching, and connections with creative folks around the world.

Now I’m starting something of my own.

Threadfox Studio is a place for private sewing lessons, custom chain stitching, handmade goods, and thoughtful mending. I'm documenting the journey as it unfolds, building something small, slow, and full of meaning.

If you’ve ever taken a leap and wondered where it might land, maybe you’ll feel at home here. Come sew with me!
